Hope Christmas in Togo and Burkina Faso
Updated: Dec 29, 2018
Thanks to our hope friends, our teams in Togo have brought the joy of Christmas to over 350 children and their families in Lome, Togo during the Christmas celebration this year. It was time of joy unspeakable to be able to bless them with food and other gifts. Our country director Komlan testifies that this small demonstration of hope and love of God have brought tears to many parents' eyes and huge smiles from the kids.
In Burkina Faso, although this is our newest team let by Pastor Jean Ouedraogo and his wife pastor Brigitte, they were so encouraged to witness the joy and the hope shining on the faces of the 44 widows they visited in Nabitenga, a village at 20 km (about 10 miles) outside the capital city Ouagadougou. Again, thanks to your support, they brought, rice and tomatoes to help them celebrate Christmas.
Jesus is the reason for the season and through the partnership of supporters, we helped families in Togo and in Burkina Faso feel the joy of the Lord during this Christmas. We will continue through the year 2019 reaching out to those in need hope in Christ through our various outreaches. Please consider an end of the year donation now to help us begin 2019 strong to continue serving children and families in Togo ($400/month) and widows in Burkina Faso ($350/month).
