Tell the godly that all will be well for them. They will enjoy the rich reward they have earned!
Isaiah 3:10 NLT
Despite the uncertainty of life, God's people will be well (Isaiah 3:10). We can find refuge in the Lord. We may not know what the future holds but faith, hope, and love will see us through. Something is reassuring about knowing that there is someone greater than ourselves to rely on and that the Lord loves us and will help us. Speaking of the decisions and choices of God, the Bible says that He “never changes” (Psalm 102:27) and that “He is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change His mind” (Numbers 23:19). God does not have to learn anything new about us as we grow up for He knows all about our hearts (Jeremiah 17:9). God alone is the Master Designer of our lives. He foreknows what will happen to us. We also know that God sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins and “make a way” so that we might be reconciled with Him through faith in Christ. We should not be surprised when our decisions result in unintended consequences that we could not have predicted. God has provided us with a way to get through the consequences of our choices. We need to embrace God’s offer of forgiveness and start over with Him (1 Timothy 2:4) to be saved.
Malgré l'incertitude de la vie, le peuple de Dieu ira bien (Ésaïe 3:10). Nous pouvons trouver refuge dans le Seigneur. Nous ne savons peut-être pas ce que l'avenir nous réserve, mais la foi, l'espoir et l'amour nous guideront. Il y a quelque chose de rassurant à savoir qu'il y a quelqu'un de plus grand que nous sur qui compter et que le Seigneur nous aime et nous aidera. Parlant des décisions et des choix de Dieu, la Bible dit qu'il « ne change jamais » (Psaume 102:27) et qu'« il n'est pas un homme pour mentir, ni un fils d'homme pour changer d'avis ». " (Nombres 23:19). Dieu n'a pas besoin d'apprendre quoi que ce soit de nouveau sur nous alors que nous grandissons car Il sait tout sur nos cœurs (Jérémie 17:9). Dieu seul est le Maître Concepteur de nos vies. Il sait d'avance ce qui va nous arriver. Nous savons aussi que Dieu a envoyé son Fils, Jésus, mourir sur la croix pour nos péchés et « frayer un chemin » afin que nous puissions être réconciliés avec lui par la foi en Christ. Nous ne devrions pas être surpris lorsque nos décisions entraînent des conséquences imprévues que nous n'aurions pas pu prévoir. Dieu nous a fourni un moyen de surmonter les conséquences de nos choix. Nous devons accepter l'offre de pardon de Dieu et recommencer avec lui (1 Timothée 2:4) afin d'être sauvés.
