Better to have little, with the fear for the Lord (Proverbs 15:16). People with a God-fearing heart are the richest, whether rich or poor. It is more important to be content with less than to need something more that takes us out of the will of the Lord. Everyone is born, everyone lives, and everyone dies. And then we go to either heaven or hell if we received Jesus or not. God doesn't judge the color of our skin or the place we were born and grew up. He only sees our hearts. A God-fearing heart is a great treasure that cannot be stolen or lost. It is better to have less but be content than to have more and always yearn for more and forget God in the process. A God-fearing heart doesn't demand; it hopes; it doesn't compare itself with others and isn't jealous. He/she is not arrogant; those like this will not fall into temptation. A God-fearing heart is unselfish and only desires to do the right thing at all times. It doesn't care about what's on the outside, but it takes care of its insides because they know that a righteous life will always come with more rewards (Galatians 6:9). They are never despondent, and their outlook can sustain anything they are faced with. So as Apostle Paul writes it; Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
Mieux vaut avoir peu, avec la crainte du Seigneur (Proverbes 15:16). Les gens avec un cœur qui craint Dieu sont les plus riches, qu'ils soient riches ou pauvres. Il est plus important de se contenter de moins que d'avoir besoin de quelque chose de plus qui nous éloigne de la volonté du Seigneur. Tout le monde naît, tout le monde vit et tout le monde meurt. Et puis nous allons au ciel ou en enfer si nous avons reçu Jésus ou non. Dieu ne juge pas la couleur de notre peau ou l'endroit où nous sommes nés et avons grandi. Il ne voit que nos cœurs. Un cœur qui craint Dieu est un grand trésor qui ne peut être ni volé ni perdu. Il vaut mieux avoir moins mais être content que d'avoir plus et toujours aspirer à plus et oublier Dieu dans le processus. Un cœur qui craint Dieu n'exige rien ; il espère; il ne se compare pas aux autres et n'est pas jaloux. Il/elle n'est pas arrogant; ceux-là ne tomberont pas dans la tentation. Un cœur qui craint Dieu est altruiste et ne désire que faire la bonne chose à tout moment. Il ne se soucie pas de ce qui est à l'extérieur, mais il prend soin de son intérieur parce qu'ils savent qu'une vie juste viendra toujours avec plus de récompenses (Galates 6 :9). Ils ne sont jamais découragés et leurs perspectives peuvent soutenir tout ce à quoi ils sont confrontés. Ainsi, comme l'écrit l'apôtre Paul; Ne nous lassons pas de faire le bien, car en son temps nous récolterons, si nous n'abandonnons pas.
